He wants to make as much money as possible in 2 years and return to India, but reality has something different in store for him. His stay in the USA gets extended for one reason or the other. He feels trapped in the US due to green card issues. He ends up sacrificing his time with his parents, and misses out on attending important events like his nephew’s tonsure ceremony (Kaathu Kuthu), Sisters' wedding, and even his grandmother’s funeral.
