Central Recruitment & Promotion Department, State Bank of India, Corporate Centre, Mumbai invites Online applications from Indian citizens for appointment of following 7740 Clerical Cadre posts in Associate Banks of State Bank of India between 30/07/2012 and 13/08/2012 .

Clerical Cadre : 7740 posts (SC-1241, ST-466, OBC-1926, UR-4107) in various states (SBBJ-1400, SBH - 1880, SBIN -240, SBM-800, SBP-1160, SBT-2500), Pay Scale : Rs. 7200 - 19300/-, Age : 18-28 years as on 01/08/2012. Age relaxation as per Govt. rules., Qualification : Minimum 12th Standard (10 + 2) pass or equivalent qualification with a minimum of aggregate 60% marks (55% for SC/ ST/PWD/ XS). OR ii) A degree (Graduation level) from a recognised university.

Selection Procedure : Final selection will be made on the basis of performance in the written test on 07/10/2012 and 14/10/2012 and interview for selected candidates taken together.

Application Fee : Rs. 350/- (for SC/ST/PWD/XS Rs.50/- only) to be deposited in any branch of SBI and get receipt. Details of the payment should be entered in online application form.

bank clerk exam were released.

Probationary Officers – 4987 posts– Rs.23520 /month (approx.)
Vacancies to be filled in State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur (SBBJ), State Bank of
Hyderabad (SBH),State Bank of Mysore (SBM), State Bank of Patiala (SBP) &
State Bank of Travancore (SBT)

Date of Written Exam : August 8, 2011
Eligibility for those looking to apply for this SBI PO recruitment,:
Age limit * Between 21 – 30 yrs (as on 1.06.2011)
Education * Must have completed graduation (any degree), as on 1.06.2011
Selection process for PO post has written test (objective & descriptive) for 250
marks wherein 40% overall must be scored along with qualifying marks in each
objective test. Those with high marks in test will be shortlisted for Group
discussion & Interview in the ratio of 1:3 (maybe around 15000 candidates)
Application fees of Rs.50 (SC/ST) or Rs.500 (others) can be paid at any SBI
branch,  upto June 23 using the cash voucher given at
www.statebankofindia.com. In the online application, your signature & photo

State bank of India has announced recruitment of 6100 clerks for its associate banks.

Vacancies – Payscale : 6000 posts (in 5 associate banks) – Rs.7200/-/Rs.19300

can apply for vacancies in any one bank only.

Dates : Online registration of applications – 01.10.2010 to 01.11.2010
Payment of fees - 01.10.2010 to 30.10.2010
Written exam - 16.01.2011

Eligibility : Those interested to apply for clerk jobs in SBI associate banks ,
* Must be 18 - 28 years of age, as on 1.10.2010
* Completed 12th std. with 60% marks OR Diploma (after 10th) with 60% OR
Degree (UG) with 40% aggregate, as on 1.10.2010
* Fluency in english (write/ speak) is required.
* Knowledge of local language is desired.

Procedure: The selection process for clerk posts in SBI associate banks involves Written test & Interview.The written test is Objective type .Negative mark would be given for every wrong answer & candidates have to score minimum marks in each paper. A merit list of high ranking candidates would be prepared & called for Interview.
